We’re proud to say that our Franklin Street Parking Deck project located in Fayetteville, NC has received an Award for Architectural Achievement from the International Parking Institute! The project was also featured in the December issue of Concrete International along with the other seven recipients of various categories of awards, each of which are intended to highlight positive effects for the neighborhood and community.
The new municipal Franklin Street Parking Deck includes five levels and 294 spaces. It was designed to minimize maintenance costs, maximize service and safety, and accommodate future mixed-use development. Security features include video surveillance, LED-lighting, and intercom systems. Post-tensioned concrete, corrosion inhibitors, low-maintenance landscaping, and an anti-graffiti coating all contribute to a projected 75-year lifespan.
