A 273,195 sf new high school serving 1,138 students. Designed to meet LEED Silver standards.
The original 1970’s era High School facility was severely damaged and declared a total loss when a fire erupted in a chemistry lab office. Students, faculty and teachers were reassigned to neighboring schools to resume classes and finish out the school year, while construction of a temporary mobile classroom village was being constructed for students to attend class. The architectural team responded quickly to designing a new facility that was reminiscent of their former school.
