Project Description
With the construction of the new Harding University HS Gymnasium facility, the existing 1960s gymnasium was completely renovated to be used as an Auxiliary Gymnasium facility. The scope of the renovation included a complete assessment of the existing facility to develop a budget, schedule, and scope of work for the project. The final project included the complete renovation of the locker rooms including all toilet rooms to provide ADA-compliant accessibility, replacement of roofing and exterior building repairs, all window and glazing at main entrance storefront and doors, new bleachers, sanding and finishing of the existing wood floor, new acoustical treatment to control noise, painting, and graphics, and energy-efficient lighting systems. Most importantly, the HVAC scope included new air conditioning in the existing facility.
