Hoke County High School

Hoke County Schools

Project Description

The new Hoke County High School is a 139,000‑square‑foot, next‑generation learning environment designed to meet the district’s long‑term needs while alleviating overcrowding and replacing aging infrastructure. Supported by a $62 million Needs‑Based Public School Capital Fund Grant, the school brings together 64 flexible classrooms and labs—including dedicated science, engineering and maker spaces—within a modern, secure and adaptable facility. Its open and collaborative learning zones, efficient circulation, and thoughtful integration of existing campus buildings create a cohesive environment that supports evolving technology, student engagement and community connection.

Modern materials, clean sightlines and controlled entry points establish a safe, welcoming atmosphere, while essential program spaces—such as the cafeteria, media center, gymnasium and administrative areas—are organized to enhance both functionality and student flow. By consolidating multiple outdated structures into one efficient, high‑performance building, the new Hoke County High School positions the district for the future. The result is a forward‑looking campus that reflects the community’s commitment to innovation, academic excellence and a vibrant educational experience for nearly 2,000 students and staff.
