The Robeson Career & Technical Education Center, Planetarium, and Science Center – an innovative 110,000sf collaborative learning facility designed to transform education in the Public Schools of Robeson County District. This state-of-the-art facility will offer the latest in workforce educational programs, providing students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in today’s job market. Students can explore various vocational and technical fields, from drafting and culinary arts to automotive technology, carpentry, computer networking, EMT training, and welding. One of this center’s most eagerly awaited features is the cutting-edge planetarium, which will serve as a vital educational resource and be open to the public. This planetarium replaces the previous facility destroyed by Hurricane Matthew.
