Stewart has a passion for teaching, learning and coaching. During his 30+year career in education, Stewart served as teacher, coach, assistant principal, principal, curriculum director and superintendent. Stewart served over 12 years as superintendent in Sampson County Schools, Stokes County Schools, Yadkin County Schools and Clinton City Schools. Stewart  worked closely with Firstfloor and SFL+ a over his career to design and build high-performing schools in Sampson County Schools and Stokes County Schools. Stewart’s number one goal is work with school systems, superintendents, and Board of Educations to keep up with changing educational landscapes to build innovative and creative learning environments that that are conducive to learning and benefits the students, teachers and community as a whole.

Fun Fact

In his spare time, Stewart enjoys spending time at the beach with his family; playing golf; and coaching the R. J. Reynolds High School golf team. Stewart is also a North Carolina licensed auctioneer.
